Booking, new LP, new comp

Hey all –
How the hell are you? We’re fine, and happy to bring you a report on our activity.
Not much point in plugging our show tomorrow night for Levitation Festival at Empire Control Room with Wooden Shjips, Acid Mothers Temple and Yoo Doo Right, as it is SOLD OUT!, but maybe you can sneak in anyway.
We are very pleased to announce that our new double album will be out in July on Super Secret Records. We don’t have an official release date yet, but we should have the LPs from the pressing plant by July 1st and are booking a release show and possible tour now. The record in eponymously titled simply ST 37, since we’ve never done that before, and is pretty special. We’re very proud of it and hope you like it too.
We have more shows coming up, specifically one happening very soon on May 13th, a memorial show for our late friend Leonard Smith at the Sahara Lounge. Here’s the poster by Steve Landry:

Oh! And we almost forgot to tell you – there’s a fabulous new compilation out on Dub Ditch Picnic Records that has one track of ours (“Crab Nebula”) on the physical 2xCD edition and three tracks on the digital download edition. The whole comp is a tribute to the legendary underground Minneapolis label Prospective Records, which we were on for a while in the 90s and led to our lifelong friendship with label honcho John Kass, otherwise known as GoJohnnyGo!
It’s called “Retro Prospective: Prospective Records 1987 – 1997” and you can find out more about it here:
cheers,
your friends at
ST 37
